Fond memories walking with Dad along Clonea Beach on my trips home from Boston and when I returned back to Ireland. There was always a story about the lone cottage on the beach.
Growing up we walked the beach regularly with Mum and Dad, we were so lucky to have this seascape so close to our home place. I have fond days of watching the Christmas Day swims with the Lions Club, a club Dad was part of for 40 years.
Ruby adores trips to this beach, we always look forward to our trips home to Dungarvan, its a pity Dad never met Ruby in this life, maybe the next one!
